Industrial air horns up to 3km/2 mile range
K-1 Industrial Air Horn
Designed and proven in the most hostile environments, indoors or outdoors, Kahlenberg’s Model K industrial air horns can be seen in service around the world in factories, mines, chemical plants, coal yards, to name just some of many applications. The K-1 operates on Air, nitrogen, CO2 off a1/2in NPT inlet and produces an SPL of 140 ± 1 dBA at 1m at a fundamental frequency of 311Hz.
K-2 Industrial Air Horn
As with all K-Series horns the K-2 features a hermetically diaphragm assembly which can cope with wide operating pressure variation, in this case 2 – 10 bars (30 -150 PSIG) without adjustment. The K-2 offers an SPL of 139± 1 dBA at 1m at a fundamental frequency of 370 Hz ± 20 Hz.
K-3 Industrial Air Horn
In common with other Model K industrial air horns, the K-3 is constructed from a rugged high strength aluminium casting with stainless steel diaphragm and fasteners. The Kahlenberg K-3 offers an SPL of 139± 1dBA at 1m at a fundamental frequency of 470 Hz ± 20 Hz across an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C.
K-5 Industrial Air Horn
The K-5 is an extremely compact yet powerful performer, with an SPL of 139± 1dBA at 1m and fundamental frequency of 622Hz ± 20 Hz to cut through background noise. Like all Kahlenberg Model K industrial air horns, its extremely strong and simple construction makes it a positive choice for alarms and sound signals in industrial environments, indoors or outdoors.
K-25 Industrial Air Horn
The dual tones of the Kahlenberg K-25, set at 370Hz and 622Hz, are deliberately disconsonant to increase the effectiveness of the warning. The K-25 achieves an SPL of 141± 1dBA at 1m and, in common with other Model K units, can run from air, nitrogen or CO2.
K-1R1 Industrial Air Horn
This bidirectional version of the K-1 industrial air horn is perfect for outdoor agricultural, industrial and mining operations. In common with all Kahlenberg Model K air horns the design is tuned to produce full harmonic contents up to 12 octaves. SPL of this model is 140± 1dBA at 1m with a fundamental frequency of 311Hz ± 20 Hz/
