Industrial air horns up to 6km/4 mile range
KM-250 Industrial Air Horn
Kahlenberg has the perfect solution to cover a large outdoor area for industrial signals and alarms, such as quarries, open mines, agriculture and other spaces. The KM-250 has been serving ships in the most hostile environments around the globe for decades and its SPL of 145 dB(A) at a fundamental frequency of 250Hz is equally potent when used ashore. Its compact dimensions and 9kg also assist installation.
KM-250-DVM-H Industrial Air Horn
The KM-250-DVM-H offers all of the advantages of the KM-250, including a self-draining diaphragm but adds a heated, thermostatically controlled combination manual override and dual electric solenoid valve (230 or 120 VAC / 24VDC) and heated diaphragm assembly, as well as a field adjustable valve for air pressure of 5 to 40 bar (75-580 psi) to permit operation down to -40°C.
KM-135-DVM-H Industrial Air Horn
Out at sea this air horn is employed on ships over 200m in length. Its booming 135Hz output at 148dB(a) can be employed equally effectively to protect large outdoor industrial sites for alarm and signalling purposes. Its heated, thermostatically controlled combination manual override and dual electric solenoid valve (230 or 120 VAC / 24VDC) and heated diaphragm assembly permit operation down to -40°C while its valve assembly is field adjustable for air pressure of 5 to 40 bar (75-580 psi)
